Hi biz. I am a bear on. TESLA and want to know better reasons as to why not to invest in it. This is what I have found till now: -

>Currently, EVs only make up ~2% of cars on the road and this will only increase (Tesla leads in this area, with exponential growth)
>Best battery tech (and the price of batteries will continue to decrease with time)
>Companies starting to pay Tesla to avoid zero emission fines
>Best EV charging network (still expanding and the tech still improving)
>Most real-world data on autonomous driving (potential disruption of the ride-sharing industry)
>Customer satisfaction (apart from customer service), hype and cult-like following
>Most people are still unfamiliar with Tesla (but with features like 'enhanced summon', people will find out soon enough)
>A factory in China (higher sales at lower costs)
>Musk's history of building successful companies (none bankrupted as far as I know)
>Eventual development of the energy production sector of the company (hopefully)
>Competition is years behind, not fully committed, and will also eventually undergo the loss of the tax credit
>Future product line-up (Model Y, New Roadster, Tesla Semi, Tesla Truck, etc.)

My dad is shilling tesla to me and I want to know how to convince him not to.
