If you are new, gold and silver should be your main focus as they are more common and user friendly so to speak.Gold and silver are common household names. Platinum and palladium are a bit in uncharted territories, and not as popular. Not to go off-topic, but I personally love platinum, it's my second highest hold next to gold. The thing is that rhodium is super expensive and is more volatile than most realize. It did shoot from $5.6k to nearly $14k in a quick amount of time. But now it's back to the same. It is essentially not market friendly, and not known to most potential consoomers and investors. I hope that makes sense.

Okay good. Also, don't rush your purchasing/investing. Set short and long term goals for yourself. Not to sound like a boomer, but a penny saved is a penny earned, indeed.
