I'm slowly watching and acknowledging that America is turning into a 2nd world country, some parts first world, some parts third world
I was in a bad part of town yesterday (that wasn't that bad when I was a kid) and I stopped in a Walmart, and in the parking lot an obnoxiously painted truck that said "BROSNAN SECURITY" was patrolling around the lot
It's not just there either, other places in my city that aren't really even that bad are having portable police camera poles installed in their parking lots, and now the grocery stores close at 11 and have little automated gates that look all corporate cutesy but close off certain entrances after later hours

Didn't have any of that shit even in the worst places in America in the 50s
