kazatomprom, the world's largest uranium miner came out a week ago and said they wouldn't be able to meet their extraction goals, due to supply chain issues and specifically issues with sulfuric acid.

cameco also has issues with their main mine. the spot price of uranium has gone from $50-60 to $90-100 in the last few months. most miners can make money around the $80 mark.

the rise in the spot price is largely due to a serious supply issue, there are not enough lbs being pulled out of the ground. numerous ultities companies have sent out orders that have been unfilled. in addition, new nuclear plants are being proposed and built. and existing plants that were set for closure are now being extended by decades

the uranium thesis is playing out. It just took a few years.
