Rate hike right now would be bad for the Fed, nevermind the markets. And let's be clear here, rate hike RIGHT NOW would be responded to with more than a little tantrum. It would waste a sizeable chunk of the QE already spent at this point. The only reason Jerome would have to do it now is maybe slow inflation slightly. Inflation is by no means out of control or much outside desired parameters yet.
