Once we can do more with BAT, like use it to buy online goods/services/etc., maybe interest will pick up. Paywalls obviously being the most logical first step.

I mean BAT has obvious flaws with KYC and centralization but it's an incredible idea and huge endeavor with loads of moving parts. The project needs to keep going and continue to onboard more and more users and things will fix themselves. BAT fucking dumping doesn't help any of this though

I like that Brave is such a legitimate tech company too, I've been really impressed by their professionalism. I think they've got their finger on the pulse as far as the way privacy issues are trending. I think the Crypto aspect (BAT) will take longer to catch on but once they get it right, BAT's potential will be so huge.

The Bitcoin lightning tipping on Twitter is a good example of my vision of internet 3.0.

Obviously I see BAT surging ahead because people will be able to "earn" it, but fuck it, BTC being used on Twitter is as solid a use case as you're going to get right now. Being able to instantaneously (in the future) give people currency for internet content, to me, is fucking insanely amazing, and normies just don't "get" that yet. Fuck, /biz/ doesn't even get it.

Whole fucking economic ecosystems should bloom from pure internet content. See an instagram post you like? Boom, 50 cents (x amount of crypto) in their wallet. You like that band's music? Here's $1 (.04 BAT) you like the youtube video? etc. etc.

Twitch has the right idea and Zoomers fucking love it. Fuck, Zoomers LOVE giving random entertainers money. It seems pathetic but it's not all that different than how boomers pay to go watch sports.

Anyways the point is I see crypto slowly, really fucking slowly, becoming an integral part of our internet experience. And it will make it 100x better.

This argument is really weak because Brave raised a ton of money before the BAT ICO. Brave has some pretty huge and recognized investors, you'd have to be retarded to think the ICO was needed to get Brave off the ground. Simply checking the Wikipedia or Brave's own website you can find that investors in Brave include: Danhua Capital, Digital Currency Group, Foundation Capital, Founders Fund, Huiyin Blockchain Venture, Pantera Capital, and Propel Venture Partners.

Brave isn't some shitcoin where the founding individual owns 1/3 of the supply.

I don't blame you for parroting the FUD you read on /biz/ though, a lot of time baseless retarded FUD gets thrown around by scamcoin shills who try to discredit what other people support. The problem with this is that Brave and BAT are so FUD-proof. It's incredibly easy to dispel most of the bullshit people claim about BAT.
