Several times people have posted that we are in the blow-off phase after a little correction.

What if we are only at the media attention phase? If you keep tabs on any sort of normie media outlets then you would know BTC is entering mainstream now.

Also I don't think the shitcoin ICO rate has hit critical mass yet for this bubble to pop.

I'm a bit scared ETH is in the 'return to normal' state now.

It's hilarious how closely the price of Bitcoin matches this.

I would not touch them with a 10 foot pull. Its a fad, a bubble. They're worthless. They've fallen more than any S&P 500 Company, they're dead. Its not the future.
>Don't Buy at all, you'll only lose money.

>Short them if anything, you might walk out with a positive bank account.
Just kidding, you can not even convert them to USD so whats the point.

This. Australia is in a property bubble at the moment. See the attached image. We're currently in the mania phase, which means everyone and their dog are trying to get into property. People who would otherwise have no interest in finance and investing and who would be happy (or ignorant enough, depending on your opinion of the working class) to work for their meagre shekels and debt, are looking to get into buying an "investment property" or even worse, treating their own home, which they haven't even paid off, as another investment. They don't care about learning the fundamentals of finance, economics, and financial history—they only see the promise of easy money.

Do not listen to these people. I'm sure you're mother is a very nice person and only wants what's best for you, but be very careful taking any finance advice from a layperson. I'm BARELY above a layperson and I'm sure most of the people on here are are only slightly better than that. I'm not going to give you any financial advice because I have no idea what's good for me let alone for another person, but look up The Barefoot Investor by Scott Pape. He's Australian and he focuses on helping younger people (15-35) with their finances. Also, r/personalfinance on Reddit is a good place to learn the basics (yes, I know Reddit sucks balls, but it's one of the few pages that is actually pretty useful). You've been given an early headstart over most of your peers, don't blow it because you took bad advice.
