It's an inherently nonsensical concept. You can't stipulate a price for a person that easily. In Lybia they are selling a person for like 400 dollars, what the fuck is that. You can make A LOT of profit out of one single person, and all that you need is to spend a little bit of cash to shelter and feed them.

HOWEVER.

If you price a slave too highly, it isn't profitable to buy one. If you price one too lowly, it isn't profitable to sell one. There is pretty much no mid-term, anything other than bullshit cheap prices are not worth it nowadays.

Not only that, as formerly mentioned in this thread, it fucks the economy hard because the slaves are workforce who produce a lot but consume nothing, and if a whole chunk of the population is not consuming what are we even producing for?
