This is what underperformance (Link is Orange, total mkt cap blue) looks like, it does however track the overall movement of the changes in total market capitalization.
The direction of chainlink is the direction of the overall total market cap, it doesn't make sense to predict the movement of chainlink based on LINK/USD - if the market drop so does Link (most likely more than the rest of the market) if the market surge so does link (most likely less than the rest of the market), but there is nothing to suggest a divergence in direction because of something technical e.g. Cyrpto market surge and Chainlink drops. If this happens, then it will be the product of news, not support and resistance levels, or TA patterns on Link/USD.
