I am prepared to take my car to car wash to wash off the last two weeks worth of road salt (yes it fucking snowed), gravel dust, and gunk the street cleaners kicked up. It occurs to me that I am a cheap bastard. You see, in order to save time at the car wash (and saving time at car wash saves money) I pre-soak the side panels and runners with soapy water at home before I drive to the wash. This loosens the dirt as I drive there and makes it much faster to remove with the pressure spray at the wash. It amounts to a savings of 1 dollar and 25 cents.
