Good lord, not fud.
Cautious Optimism For A Fivefold Increase

In results published by data scientist Xoel López Barata who conducted
the investigation, Bitcoin appears set to hit $55,530 by the end of this year.
Bitcoin will “most likely” cost over $50,000 in 2018 as a new mathematical
study attempts to get a logical prognosis for its price.

By contrast, the probability the largest cryptocurrency will be equal
to or lower than at present is under 10%.
The rather more scientific evaluation joins the plethora of forecasts
from various well-known figures in cryptocurrency and beyond, some of
which remain wildly high despite Bitcoin’s recent halving in price.
Most recently, Trace Mayer produced popular findings that a 2018 Bitcoin
costing over $14,340 would be “overvalued,” but which nonetheless saw the
cryptocurrency having the potential to go over $100,000.

Newbie guide to joining the cryptocoin/Altcoin gravy train.

Firstly Research! Ignore most of what you read on /biz, they are mostly shills and pump/dump discord groups
there are a few gems every now and then, but doing your own research will help in making a slightly more informed choice
of coin.

Some words of wisdom,

>Pick 2-3 projects.
>Dont listen to anyone!
>Research them as hard as you can.
>Talk to devs. If they want you to buy, DONT!
>Put 60% of your stack in them.
>This will be your hedge
>Put other 30% in top tier coins.
>Use the last 10% to chase moons

Getting your cash to Crypto, you have your money in your bank account, you have your credit cards, to make your cash into crypto you need to sign up to
a site that will allow you to convert it, one popular site is (www.coinbase.com/join) (/59cd170c4739 c100e8843b75) (remove spaces & ())
this site will ask for id as part of its sign up process
photo's of identification are required to confirm your account (this is pretty standard practice), these can be drivers licence, passport etc, they will take several days to confirm your account, so just
wait, once you are confirmed and you have deposited cash into coinbase via credit/debit card you will need to purchase some ETH ethereum, this will be the crypto currency you will use to purchase altcoins.
(guides on purchasing and account setup on site)

Right, now you have your ETH ethereum and are ready to start trading, to trade you will need to register to another site (www.binance.com/?re) (f=10792170) (remove space & ())
this is a cryptocurrency exchange site,
again one of the most popular, there are others but some can be a bit dodgy so be careful. Once you have your account on binance its a case of transfering your ETH ethereum from coinbase to your
binance wallet, once its in there than you can purchase any of the altcoins listed on binance using your ETH ethereum.

What to do with saved up cash when young?

I'm 18, and over the past couple of years have saved up $11k from work and flipping. I'll be starting college in a few months (which luckily will all be paid for by a wealthy grandfather) at a top ivy to study math and cs, so will be in good shape to get a high paying job post graduation.

So what should I do with this money? I think most would recommend to keep saving it but I can't really see what for.

>inb4 blow it on cryptos
If I'm making six figures at 23, any gains I make now will be relatively insignificant.
