OVL/OVN also allows for MAPPS: This means that you can, for example, use smart contracts and other features across multiple blockchains which don't support said features natively. E.g. you can build an app utilizing the privacy of Monero, the transaction speed of EOS, and the decentralization of Bitcoin! You can create a decentralized privacy app with smart contracts by utilizing multiple blockchains at the same time.

What I personally also like is it potentially making abandoned blockchains with niche features useful, even if they would have absoutely zero developer adoption otherwise...
