Evening fellas, I'm wondering if any UK stackers here have a pension, and if its worth having?

I was contributing to one for my last job (now unemployed) and recently got a letter saying I need to either transfer the funds to a new scheme or get a refund of my contributions less tax, the transfer amount being c. x3 the refund amount.

I have no idea what clown world we'll be in when I'm at retirement age (several decades) so I'm tempted to get the refund and get more PMs, or start a junior mining stock portfolio.

I am also wary that the responses I get may be skewed but I find the calibre of poster here generally quite high! Thank you for reading.
