Yeah it’s annoying. It was a bit cheaper so took a chance on it. It’s one of those antique places where the different cabinets are leased by other people. So unless you happen to be there the same time as that particular owner the other staff aren’t sure what it it. The price did indicate that it’s as either a bargain or questionable. It’s still cool, one of those Aztec king ones. I assume it’s not got any silver in it at all now I’ve got home and weighed it.

I did get an assortment of sterling 925 junk jewellery elsewhere though, so not too fussed. Stuff in the largest pile is hallmarked as sterling, the other stuff I can’t tell yet.
