Brass Beta is just a testbed. And it is working. I have installed it on 3 PCs with a few clicks and zero problems.
There are no taks because Golem has made zero marketing communication up to now.

Again the difference with Iexec is in the orders of magnitude domain. Millions of devices for Golem, versus a few thousands for Iexec.

It is no big deal to distribute computation on nodes configured with all the specs you give. This Iexec model anyway that is doomed to remain in a very limited in scale.

The exact opposite is true for Golem. More and more software will be added in due time, and the full support for GPUs is probably only weeks away.

Moreover we are not far away from the official 1.0 version of Brass.

Golem and IExec are not even in the same league.

Oh, and btw, Vitalik himself supports Golem.

Golem has spent zero on marketing in the last year and focused entirely on devolopement.

For that matter the CEO and CTO were grilled on purely techincal issues even recently, at the last London Ethereum Meetup .

This project is very real. The team is formed by people close to Vitalik. I believe he gave a substantial endorsement at the ICO time.
