I too, got boomer'd. My dad did a B.A. in English, then got his MBA and became an investment banker (in the early 70's). My mom did psychology, got her masters, and became a clinical psychologist. I did Classics + Foreign Language for mine, and assumed I'd be able to go to Law School and have a good life. It's either cuck office work, 200k+ in debt to a good law school, or go for cheap to a shitty law school and make 50k forever.

I can't tell if I was lied to, or if it really was easier back in the day. I'll tell you though, no one cares how competent you are if you studied the humanities: people won't take the risk that you weren't some retard who checked your privilege into good grades by parroting the professor.
