Every single day I log into the Stockaholics stock forum and I berate its pathetic inhabitants for being 70% down on META and merely 80% up from the very bottom. I remind them of everything else they could have bought that outperformed META because it gives me special pleasure to see them suffer. They tell me that I'm mentally ill, that no sane or well adjusted person would have sufficient reason to behave like this, that the only way I could possibly have the energy and time to commit my life to something this meaningless were if I were a GPT chatbot. But none of this matters.
