Can someone tell me why big tech companies like Oracle, Swift or Google would use Chainlink when they could easily make their own secure middleware tokens. Why would they pay to use Chain links nodes, when they could simply stake their own BTC or USD and pay out if they act on false information?

Don't you think they are only interested in ChainLink as a proof of concept, which they can later copy?

Yes, it will affect all aspects of finance at some point, but by the time it would be worth that much intrinsically, the US dollar and other fiat currencies might not be as relevant. Pic related.

Yea, if you have less than 5k you just have to start really preparing yourself to hoard those tokens for several years before you start selling any of them. LINK will take off but it could be years before a stack of a few thousand is worth multiple millions. Good luck.
