I told a buddy of mine about GameStop last year in january because he helped me in the past.
He asked how much are you investing. I said all my spare money about 1000$. I said I can give you 1gme to hold it no matter what.(although he has a lot of money)
After earnings, i asked how much did you invest, he said 1000 and made little profit.
When I asked why did you sell? I told you about this because it's a long race and it will change your life and the life of your future generations.
He said simply: because I do not trust the stock.
I was speechless. I told him you bought the stock because you trusted me not the stock. After that I tried to be respectful and played it cool.
