So on their site it says you nee 500k to get a wholesale, but after talking to them on the phone they can get me started on 100k.

>Vanguard Growth Index Fund (Wholesale): 0.36% p.a.

> Average fee for an ETF is 0.14%
I am trying to work out if the wholesale funds turn out to be cheaper in the long run.

I am starting to think the wholesale could be good value:

Vanguard Growth Index Fund wholesale holds 10 different funds in it. If you add the total fees for all those 9 funds (3 they don't offer in retail) it comes to 1.5% p.a for the 6.

so 0.36% does not seem bad for 9 different holdings... when 6 individual ETFs add up to 1.5%p.a

Australian Vanguard, but I am sure it would be similar to the US.

Am I missing something?
