LINK holders were one of few people that made a lot of gains during a bear market (2018-2019). There's a reason why projects that integrate/partner with Chainlink see a lot of money flow in in different ways (tokens purchase or protocol LINK deposits)

Aave is a great example (one of many). They use Chainlink oracles and a lot of LINK holders deposited their LINK (over $10million dollars worth) into Aave to use as collateral.
