Guys I unironically have to make it soon. My fiancé is demanding I buy a $350k house, I make $100k a year but don’t have much in terms of savings. Just under $50k, 24 of which is in a Roth IRA the rest is in Robinhood / savings. I cannot afford the 20% down and will get raped by pmi. I have no debt atm. I tried to convince her that buying a 2 bedroom ok condo for 160k would be smart because we can live there for a year and rent it out. She isn’t having it demanding a house.
