I was sergey's limousine driver for a while, he just had me drive around while he murmured about fundamentals, I would have to clean up so many big mac boxes. eventually I had to decline his business because he wouldn't reimburse me for the new rear bumper I had to buy

Hope you bought the dip

>However, one relatively minor cryptocurrency, chainlink, has more than doubled since June, jumping from around $1 to $2.55 after the company behind the token revealed a raft of partnerships and deals to use its technology.
>The chainlink token, which trades under the name link, began the year at $0.25, climbing to highs of around $4 per link token, before falling back along with the wider bitcoin and cryptocurrency market.
>Chainlink, an ethereum token that powers the Chainlink decentralized oracle network allowing smart contracts on ethereum to connect to external data sources, APIs, and payment systems, has managed to stage a strong recovery since the late summer sell-off, breaking away from the wider bitcoin and crypto market, which has been falling steadily.

>“I noticed a similar structure to ethereum’s price behavior in 2016 or, dare I say, bitcoin between 2011 and 2012. I wouldn’t be surprised to see link hovering around $10 and making it to the top 10 cryptocurrencies in CoinMarketCap by mid-2020.”

What could the SWIFT Smart Oracle logically be?

1. SWIFT/banks' Chainlink node to sell their API data (compliant with PSD2?)
2. Internal oracle in a permissioned blockchain(Corda) with no use of the LINK token
3. Something else?

1 or 2 years ago, the potential impact of data-enhanced smart contracts on the derivatives industry wasn't being discussed anywhere, except here on biz and behind closed doors in the highest levels of the finance world, perhaps implied in a few banking conferences, hiden in plain sight in a few academic studies or market reports. This complete blackout of info on the subject, of clear and announced plans to what is to come, led many of us to believe that was the biz hivemind came to foresee, and backed with deep research, could in fact have only been delusion. Surely, if the entire backend of the financial sector was about to be revolutionzed and automated thanks to a simple json parsing medianizing protocol, people, experts, in the tech and business fields etc, would be figuring it out and talking about it constantly. The absolute critical impact this technology would have being nothing short of the key to a new industrial revolution. The lunatic, deluded ramblings in that little shithole of the internet meanwhile kept increasing in scope and intensity, going deeper and deeper, a gigantic puzzle with endless pieces was starting to come together. If you were to take each of the piece separately, they would appear as meaningless to the common person, even to the crypto experts. But for these deluded few, each little piece evoked a mountain of interconnected meaning and possibility. Those who didn't lurk then, will not be fed the knowledge now - but the shared wisdom remains. But a couple years later, the puzzle pieces are starting to get assembled by others, plans are starting to become announced, officialized... Blythe Masters, Digital Asset, ISDA, Accord, OpenLaw, Hyperledger, ic3, SGX, 1.4 quadrillion US dollars, now it's all being laid out... the thesis of the deluded few was starting to become more and more validated with each passing day. They were right. It was true. All of it. Yesterday, they were crazy. Tomorrow, they would become millionaires.
