I don't believe such an assurance exists, but what does exist is the strength to carry on despite unfathomably harsh circumstances. Grit is an insanely under-rated soft skill anyone can develop and will help you in many areas of your life other than getting out of an immediate jam caused by another's (or your own) stupidity, negligence, etc.
