No they won't. They wouldn't need conscription if that were the case. They wouldn't have to resort to press-ganging with ambulance ambush squads if that were the case. They wouldn't have to legally require their embassies to assist in sending back their population if that were the case. It's like claiming that Canada would fight a guerilla style conflict if the US attempted annexation. Yeah, Quebec and nationalists would (Lviv and nationalist equivalent) but everybody else would docilly go to the front right up until shit hit the fan and would just accept US rule as soon as the writing was on the wall, which is what will happen in Ukraine.
