>hire animation designer for project, a 30 sec facebook ad for my new album
>quotes me $1500
>asks for $750 as deposit
>i give it to him
>prepare a document to outline everything i expect from the animation so no misunderstandings
>sends first few drafts
>they fucking suck (his personal art is great but somehow he fucking sucks and doing anything else), hes avant garde and so is my project
>i tell him i want to terminate and ask him if he'll send half the deposit back since dude barely did anything
>dude ghosts

i recognize that i messed up bigly by not clarifying the terms of the deposit, but holy shit, this fucking Zoomer literally could have just been like "yeah sorry, no deposit back". instead he ghosted hard.

who is in the wrong here?

Also, I’m interested in what will happen with ETH ETFs now. Some are saying that they’re in the works and will be ready by May, but if the SEC is going after them now, there’s no way they will allow an ETH ETF to happen. So maybe that Blackrock XRP filing was just a premature leak, not a fake one as they said. Since XRP got clarity now, XRP ETFs may happen before Ethereum. I don’t know how serious that investigation is though, maybe Gary is just playing another 7D chess.

I just got here from /tv/ and looking to invest. Chainlink seems to the board's favorite token. Could I 4x my money if I bought today? How risky is it?

Has anyone here hit 7 figures with and exit-ed by moving in to safer investments while still making 2-3x in traditional assets over a few years?

I'm close to hitting my first million and wondering if I should just exit and move into tradfi to lock in my nest even if it means slower growth moving forward. Or should I shoot for 2 million in crypto and then exit?

>Xrp offers nothing of value.
XRP offers fast payments and super low fees. I work with coders from Russia, and I can't pay them using a credit card anymore, so I pay them in crypto. They were shocked when they received their money in seconds with almost nonexistent fees because they're used to BTC or ETH.

>Buy ETH and stake with ether.fi to potentially get an Eigenlayer a1rdrop
>BUY TIA and farm a1rdrops
>All in on ICP

Already have 10 BTC.

These threads have deteriorated and are essentially worthless now, and I've been around since before XSG, posting in UNHWI threads. Perhaps that's for the best. I filled my bag and began working on a business, rather than waiting for XRP to reach at least $5, so I could escape the wage cage. Overall, it's for the better. I'm considering removing all crypto widgets from my devices and just leaving everything as it is.

Solana users:
>go through hell and back with FTX and SBF
>get universally shat on by everyone
>ecosystem nonetheless provides endless opportunities, new projects, hardworking devs
>trading onchain with them is actually fun, money to made everywhere you look

meanwhile Arbitrum users:
>get sucked off by everyone
>despite billions in airdrop monies, ecosystem is rife with scams posing as legitimate projects, Plutusdao, 3xcaliber, Pepesgame, etc.
>trading onchain is jeet central as if green candles are illegal
Make it make sense.

>Is that good or bad in the end?
It's bad because we're not getting rich, but it's also good because someone (((up there))) cares enough about XRP's price, to dump BTC's price only to suppress it.

When XRP printed a green candle and tried to break out, someone instantly dumped BTC price and took XRP with it. This shit happens all the time if you look at the charts. Someone don’t want XRP to decouple.
