Hilarious by itself, but even so the Wiki entry doesn't contradict what I said at all and alludes to the fact that Occam's razor is specifically a rule of thumb for testing hypotheses in a controlled setting (aka the scientific method).
You are essentially now arguing that when trying to solve a crime or investigate an incident in the real world Occam's razor is as equally useful as it is in the laboratory, when that is clearly not the case. Imagine a police detective citing Occam's razor in a warrant lmao

His argument is disingenuous and false on multiple levels. First the notion that anybody has "proven" that storage and telecom capacity will not continue to grow by several orders of magnitude is BULLSHIT. Second, it doesn't even matter if progress in hardware slows to a crawl because the problem is equally about infrastructure and economics as it is about the cutting edge of the underlying tech.
