I can talk for hours about Osisko and how they make money but I am honestly not up to date on a lot of the other royalty holders. Osisko has I think 125 operations that they have royalties in, often they spin smaller companies off to operate or manage their own acquisitions, such as what they just did to their Barkerville Gold Project. They buy into projects to generate a revenue stream, build the company up and than if its the right choice buy the project out and operate it themselves. The drilling at and around the Barkerville Gold Project has been insane. Drill holes coming back with multiple cuts of veins grading over half an ounce per tonne and crazy anomalous results like the Cow Mountain Zone hole that produced 6430 grams per tonne over half a meter. The project has had some challenges but now even the community of Wells BC that opposed the project in their back yard are coming to their senses. I forsee BGM becoming one of Canada's premier gold camps again as it was in the 1930s.

not sure, Barkerville has until recently held them down due to the market not wanting anything to do with the project. The previous management under Frank Callahan made the place a complete shit show composed of yes men, fraud and failure. Osisko has turned that around, and now that all the drill results from 4 years ago have been double checked and new drilling has produced stellar results it could moon when the mine is actually announced to be in production. There are things holding the project up, the town of Wells BC for one is not at all thrilled with the way BGM is working with them. There are also environmental and historical concessions to be addressed with the project being right next to a major provincial heritage site. We will see if BGM and Osisko can pull this off, I ve waited nearly 10 years for this project to prosper and its finally showing results.

just FYI to anyone on here holding Osisko Gold Royalties, their Barkerville Gold Project is about to go into over drive. Hytech drilling has a contract with them to bring ten of their deep penetrating drills onto the project by December, slowly ramping up to all ten from September to December. They also have plans to build thier 100 man camp and new core farm at the Ballarat F Grant directly outside of the Barkerville historic site. Underground work is yet to be planned but a number of winter projects on Yanks Peak and Mt Proserpine are also in the works.
