Any advice for starting a better paying career? My current career in water treatment just gave me a raise of 50 cents, bringing my salary to $19.40. The work is recession proof, and in any other state it would be considered damn decent income, but since I live in (((New Jersey))) it's just barely above poverty-tier wage. There was an anon who mentioned getting the CompTIA+ cert and shooting for the best entry level gig, and getting additional certs to become a cloud engineer would be my best bet. My situation ain't that bad though, I could always continue getting certs in my current career, and move out of state to make a decent living. Any thoughts?
