What's the appeal of shorting when BTC is obviously pumping ? I don't get it. I mean there will be a point where it will be profitable to short, but we're not there yet.

im thinking tanker stocks might boom every month on the 19-20th when futures contracts expire = boom

then people will quickly start injecting that hopium that the economy rebounds quickly and forget that there's still supercontango regardless of what trump tweets or the news reports = bust

tankers are fundamentally the correct play, but the sentiment of the people are what makes the stock price move right now, not fundamentals

we might have to swing trade these tankers every fucking month for the next few months because people simply dont want to believe the economy will not rebound quickly and oil demand will not come back right away

might have to swing trade these every month, unless you want to hold the stocks for the divvys. i think you have to hold the stock for like 60 days or something after the divvy date or you get taxed out the ass or something... anyone know about this?
