I am starting to fall for the gme meme stock. I do believe the shorts have not been covered and we could see the hugest green dildo. also, the possibility of forcing hedge funds to literrally give you their money is a wet dream.
Anyone here have a solid guess about what i could do? I just looked at the Volkswagen 2008 short squeeze which was supposedly "accidental", but gme has much more potential because this is the first intentionnal short squeeze by a mass of retail traders, many of them being autists that will hold and also reatil top buyers that will fomo if the price starts climbing above 1000$.
This might a unique chance to rob the wall street rats
Yes it might not work i am very well aware, but it makes me wonder if i am not missing something

Can someone explain a few things to me about how this will work?

Everyone is waiting until the moment the short sellers start buying and the price goes way up to all sell their shares at once right? How long is the price going to stay high for? Is everyone going to be selling all at once? How do you be sure to be there to sell right then? Do you have to sit and watch the stock price all day every day maybe for weeks until that happens so you don't miss that moment?

If you buy the stock and then the big price rise happens the same day isn't there a rule against selling it the same day unless you have $25,000 in your account? So would you be stuck with the stock and miss the chance to sell high and then have to sell it the next day when it might have crashed by then?

Hedgefunds who must cover shorts and people assuming it will moon and buy will raise the price. The hedgefunds covered a lot of shorts the last two days, but no one knows how much.
1.
If it's nearly all, then no squeeze. Meaning it might go to 400 then fall all the way down to 12.
2.
If it's some, then maybe 1 or two squeezes... after the holders hold and the pussies sell, maybe it bumps a couple hundred dollars, then falls to 12 from 750.
3.
or... maybe the fundies covered nothing really... and as long as you hold it will moon to two thousand and then you will watch some collapses and then it will watch it fall to 5.

If class action passes, prepare to get 3 cents a share for your trouble in 2022.

I know they would get sued and would still have to pay an amount equivalent to what they would have lost via legal action, but then they actual purchase of stock to cover the shorts would not occur. What happens to the price then?

In all seriousness (i'm a complete idiot), do "normal" people suffer because of these shenanigans? Will my parents lose a ton of money in their 401K's and mutual funds?

I'm very new to this and I feel like I screwed up. Last night, I tried buying 4 stocks of GME when it was around 210ish. I did it at around 11 PM EST. This morning, I woke up and I saw that nothing has happened and I still don't have them. Can you only get stocks during business hours on Robinhood? Now, it's like 350 per stock...am I not able to get those 210 anymore? The order has been carried out, but nothing has happened.
