>It couldn't be a test. No one would want to test if a live system lives up to its promises. Tests and demonstrations are definitely worthless. I prefer to have a central authority like my personal groomer Vitalik tell me ETH5 will fix it or maybe Mastercard, sorry I meant to write Epstein sorry I mean tto write Blockstream tell me it will work in 18 more months!

>trust
Oh imagine the breach of trust once the retards figure out SegWit forked Bitcoin and that they literally destroyed the economics of the system that keeps it secure by limiting the blocksize and that they removed the Turing Completeness as well as the peer-to-peer nature of the system.

BTC is dead, doesn't even matter if Satoshi or not, BSV or not. They literally will be forced to go back on their word of 6 years (limiting blocksize) OR they have to increase the 21m cap.

>Like that fatal flaw in segwit that he was going to reveal in one year in 2018 and then never mentioned again.
That would be interesting to follow up with. However, it's now the year 2022 and BSV holds the TPS record while being Turing Complete (Smart Contracts), so I'm not sure if it'll matter. He's not god, he can also be a retard I suppose. What if he was simply wrong? So what? BTC is still shit, Lightning still doesn't work and yeah BSV holds records that matter.

>lightning
Lightning does fuckall, except charge you 60$ in fees to open/close a channel when BTC basechain (which they keep sealed behind a 1mb practical limit) is a capacity, which happens when ppl actually use it like 2017 and 2021 peaks. Check a chart for fees. Oh also Lightning is gonna be so decentralised it's not even gonna be funny, which goes completely against their oh so cherished values of being "decentralised" (which they aren't anyway, Blockstream centrally controls BTC code for example).

>>50473663
Bitcoin can move coins for fractions of a cent at scale, so even the poorest jeet in the indian slums can move his $1 daily salary without paying 20% fees to VISA or similar.

It's not "some database" in "some datacentre".

It's Peer to Peer. Not like BTC Peer to Node to Node to Node To Adam's mom's vagina To Node To Peer.

Alice sends tx to Bob, Bob validates via SPV there's no doublespend in seconds, moves on with life and miners validate it completely. Not you, me or Adam's mom need to see the tx.

That's trustless. That's fast. Really fast.

No, of course not. There are thousands of nodes securing the network. My raspberry pi will protect your finances, don't you worry at all. Just exchange some more worthless fiat for btc, it is worth it trust me. And it's safe. And secure. And safe.

High IQ takes. Sadly 4chan is overrun by retards and useful idiots spreading the BTC narrative. Imagine trusting BTC after it can't do shit 13 years into development.
