Gold for comparison, same kind of pic.

When zoomed out, both "Silver-BTC" and "Gold-BTC" charts are almost identical to a regular BTC-USD chart. Because that's how devalued they've gotten against BTC. Measuring Bitcoin in USD, Silver or Gold makes very little difference.

<-- Another way to look at it. That's Gold measured in Bitcoins. Old chart, but the point is how extraordinarily similar it looks to a zoomed out BTCUSD chart. Most people who've seen BTCUSD zoomed out wouldn't be able to tell that's not BTCUSD, if they weren't told it was XAUBTC flipped over.
