Have any of you had sucess making $$$$ in sales?

Which types of sales jobs are typically most recommended? i.e. Phone sales, insurance sales, real estate sales, mortgages, etc?

Most of the insurance sales positions I see listed all require state insurance sales licenses, in your opinion is it even worth it? Or perhaps would pursuing other professions be better?

What are some examples of jobs that pay well and let you telecommute/set your own schedule?

Bonus points for businesses/routes of self employment one can start without having years of experience in.

How do taxes work when it comes to online work?

Say for instance you do freelance work for a company based in the US, while you live in the other country. Do you owe income taxes to the US? Your home country? Anyone at all? Is this considered working inside a country you don't have a work visa for?

I'm curious about the viability of traveling around while maintaining an online income source, and whether taxes would become a big problem.
