I cannot emphasise this enough: this is not real world advice. It's just that in Minecraft you don't have to worry about corporation tax or CGT if you incorporate in the Seychelles or Virgin islands and it only costs like £5k to do that through a solicitor. yeah the Kybalion (despite claiming old age and authority) was actually written pretty recently, iirc in the 1800s or early 1900s, by some French guys who were claiming to be Templars or Rosicrucians or Atlanteans. It belongs to a "religion" called Theosophy, and a lot of the material produced by people who follow that tradition has that same tone of "this is what you MUST believe" and "this is the TRUTH" (but when you really get down to it, there's not much substance)

desu the Kybalion isn't super great, I think it's mostly useful as when you are starting out learning about spirituality/esoteric stuff. which is not to say there aren't valuable things within it.

as far as better sources: I really like Manly P Hall's the Secret Teachings of All Ages, and the work of Francis Yates, and Promethea by Alan Moore and the Invisibles by Grant Morrison...what are you looking for exactly? Hermetic stuff specifically?

personally i wonder if all humans don't possess a vestigial 6th sense, that we were somehow more in touch with in the distant past (possibly it was required in hunting, or was used for communication) but modern technology (maybe beginning as far back as the invention of writing, or even language) has caused this 6th sense to kinda shrivel up.

I'm reading this cool book "Dogs that know when their owners are coming home" by Rupert Sheldrake and he cites a lot of evidence that people are mildly psychic, like JB Rhine's studies at Princeton where people could predict what card was going to pop up. Think of how often you call someone and they say "I was just thinking of you!"

But maybe some of us in this thread are, yknow, more psychic than usual. The anecdotes in your post seem to point to you having psychic sensitivity. Have you tried practicing it, trying to cultivate it? For example, by concentrating on a deck of cards and trying to predict whether it will be red or black, or a certain number, before you flip one over? Or try and remote view something? It's fun if you have an open-minded friend to practice this kind of stuff.

Then again, it's important not to fall victim to confirmation bias- our brains are pattern-seeking machines, and will find whatever we're looking for. If you are trying to see red cars, all of the sudden you'll see them everywhere.

Anyway it sounds like you are psychic as fuck, I'ma go out on a limb and say /xsg/ has a higher-than-average concentration of intuitive/psychic people in it.
