The simple truth is decentralized oracles are not needed as evidenced by the current financial system which doesn't have a problem with centralized price feeds. The only people who believe they are a critical part of the ecosystem are Linkies, Unfortunately for Sirgay, linkies don't use his price feeds. They just cope and seethe while he dumps on them and buys Lambos. If crypto goes mainstream, a centralized entity will see how much money Sirgay is trying to skim off the ecosystem and create a centralized more secure version that includes insurance for a fraction of the price.

The future mainstream crypto eco system will be a mix of centralized and decentralized entities. Not everything needs to be decentralized . In fact, some of the simpler processes would be better left to a centralized business entity. You don't need a billion dollar blockchain to do 2nd grade math.
