Let's put this to bed once and for all. Why does in Bed Bath's 93 page bankruptcy petition, which includes 25 pages of "here's what went wrong," short sales, hedge funds, predatory securities trading, none of those gets even glanced at? Not even mentioned, let alone cited as a material influence on the company's decline. Stop believing magical Reddit bullshit that is totally divorced from reality and read the companies own words to you, the shareholder, because that's what filings are fucking for. They've been telling you in plain English the entire time. This isn't some grand conspiracy. There is no code to unlock and you're not the smartest guy in the room. You bought a dying big box store. The company told you it was dying and that you more than likely would get wiped out. You bought it anyway and now you're shocked that the dying company you bought into with hard earned dollars and a head full of hopium actually died.
