I feel like I'm fairly below average and this is my current setup at 31.
>15K in savings
>10k in checking
>50k in 401k
>8k in Roth IRA
>7k in brokerage
>no debt
>renting

I have minimal financial knowledge and my personal account is just ETFs. I know I have too much money in my checking account, but I'm risk averse even though I should taking chances at my age. I just want financial advice from people more literate than myself. I feel like I'm pissing money away not doing anything with it, but scared of losing it by doing something with it.

How does my Roth have a fraction of the value but almost half as much gain as my 401k? My 401k is a 2060 target date fund and my Roth is mostly VOO. Shouldn't my target date fund be very aggressive? I pretty much only buy ETFs anyway because all this investing stuff might as well be rocket science unless you studied it in school
