/pol/ would argue something along the Jewish angle, but what I think the evidence best supports is this.

>big business, mainly Jewish begins to spend massively on PACs, and eventually makes congress its bitch
>congress and the presidency then pass laws which allow for the "to big to fail" concept to become reality
>this utterly removed the risks of any investment and allows the market to be played like a fiddle
>shitty home loans go out en masse
>now the pincer is set
>as monetary policy changes(coming from jewich control Federal Reserve), the economy cools off and now these shitty loans are unpayable
>the banks then either stay afloat and collect all the property or go bankrupt only to get bailed out by the taxpayer
>either way the bankers won, the tax payers lost and an enormous upward transfer of wealth took place.
