Is Doug shitfu’s bitching on Twitter about sold not yet purchased from like the last day? If so, holy fuck, imagine having that net worth and whining like a panicked child on fucking social media on a Friday night…. This loser is absolutely attempting to set legal precedent for not knowing about any of what is happening behind the scenes invoking RC.

Not only will shitfu be hit with illegal naked shorting, but he will also be hit with dereliction of fiduciary duty, and the breach of fiduciary duty is what he seems to be trying to avoid. Naked shorting is so common he probably isn’t worried about that so much, it’s hard to know exactly. If I were in shitfus position I would approach the feds and seek protection, even if it’s a risk because anything to do with finance is totally corrupted in the regulatory system and government, this whining man’s life is threatened by the banks and much more powerful fish.

Therefore when we get new equity and cash in exchange for our bbbyq shares that were removed from our accounts due to a pending corporate action, I will surely sell the new stock for any price I can get, given how relieved I will be. Why would I, or anyone else hold the new equity and use the cash to buy even more? Who would behave like this? This could spell disaster for hedge funds and market makers, along with their prime brokers all the way up to the dtc and the fed if the stock happened to be cartoonishly over shorted.

Be weary, the only reason /r/teddy stays up is because it was comped from the start. It will become worse over time and assets will be burned along the way. /r/theppshow was nuked because they didn’t have control of it. Teddy will live on and comped mods will exert influence more and more over time.


Also be prepared to wait for many many more months, the number of wrenches these guys can throw into the legal process is seemingly unlimited so we just have to wait for RC and friends to dodge them and continue.

The algorithms picked up on the death spiral financing that was sold to a benign participant. The shorts were DESPERATE to prevent the company from orchestating a turn around and so they jumped the shark and tried to pull the price BELOW the exercise price of the warrants to almost "force" them into exercising them in order to bail themselves out.
It's actually a pretty amazing story. Hudson Bay even gave BBBY a reprieve on the share price and the shorts began shorting even harder!
That was a dangerous miscalculation that was all unfolding even before they knew about the imminent bankruptcy with the DIP financing already planned well in advance.

They were like a helpless moth flying directly into a bug zapper. The algo is likely programmed and fast enough to act quickly and they went spelunking in an underwater cave with no way to turn around.
