Dividends are why i bought them but it's important to not get blindsided by them. if i plan to just hold on to them even if they go down it would take over 10 years to get back what i put in, if they were at 10% yield and also if there were no taxes (neither is true).

so i hope they have something on the horizon and that i'm not buying into a sinking ship. if they truly start to sink they'll finally have to start lowering dividends as well, which surely will trigger an avalanche of selloffs

You can wait for a pullback, there might be some scary stuff this week with PMI data, FOMC meeting, Brexit vote, and tariffs scheduled for Sunday.

But I bought some more calls on the morning dip, have a limit buy set to buy more.
