Advertising propaganda has a lot of plebs spending more than they need on daily necessities anyway. They're out buying name brand shit and eating out at restaurants and getting takeout food. Almost nobody in America is at home actually subsisting on rice and beans except for a few NEETs trying to make it. Rather than prices spiking, goods will simply disappear from store shelves like they did last year (because of price gouging laws, it's considered better for NOBODY to have in demand goods rather than people being able to voluntarily pay for them).

Seriously, you all need to prep and you need to assume that no matter how much crypto or precious metals you have that you simply won't be able to find goods when they're needed. Now is the time to stockpile. Save your crypto and PM for bribes and travel arrangements out of the country to somewhere more sane.
