Was a NEET off and on for years at a time, currently working full time, 29 in IT. A lot of my time spent being a NEET was mostly from putting off my responsibilities for reasons like "oh I can't do X yet I because registraction for classes doesn't start" or waiting a year because the retarded state I live in wouldn't count me as a citizen of said state (despite being born here) because I lived in a different state for a few months for college tuition purposes.

All of which were just excuses of course. Currently live at my mom's house though there's no real point in moving out. I pay my own bills, buy my own food, and keep the house cleaner than everyone else. If I were to move out the only thing that would change is I'd be on my own and paying another $1200/mo in bills to the rent jew. Of course in the 1/100000 chance I get laid and maybe have a GF I'll get my own place, but if the only purpose in moving out is the approval of others than fuck em, I'll keep stacking crypto and being a "loser" thanks. I'm glad I still have a good relationship with my mom and dad though, both of them actually prefer me to live at home because they get lonely, and I enjoy hanging out with them so why not.

There were many points in time in my life, in my 20s in particular that I felt lost, a bit hopeless maybe, and of course a loser (which I was, probably still am just less so). But it's looking up, I at least am now making slightly above average in my age group being in IT

That's just my blog post anyway
