I honestly can't tell if he is a brainlet on the subject, or if he is just trying to FUD crypto while he is accumulating somehow? (Does he even know about Proof of Work??)

Let's assume that he is not accumulating for the sake of this post; When you hear Warren Buffet talk about cryptocurrencies, he sounds like someone who is so dug into his trench, that he can't really come out of it now. Listen to the man speak. The whole *idea* of Bitcoin is ridiculous to him.. "It doesen't produce anything". I wonder if anyone ever asked him, whether or not he thinks that gold has any value?

This is the same concept. Bitcoin, however, will probably prove to be more valuable than gold in the long run, since gold, per definition, is not deflationary. This might take a generation to be obvious truth - but it will be truth, none the less.

I mean, for christ sake, if you ever feel that Warren Buffet might be right about any of this, just remember that the man completely missed Google AND Amazon..
