These groups aren't dependent on each other or antagonistic. They just exist at the same period of time. That's all. There is no deeper meaning to it. Things happen. Those things simply happen to be cinematic, romantic, exciting when it comes to one group, and soul crushingly meaningless, dull, sterile, and rudderless when it comes to you.
