I personally just keep guns because I'm able to be the enactor of my moral will if I have a weapon. Not "Grr I angry! I shoot X!" But "I don't believe in your tyranny, I will fight back" or "I value my life, I will not allow it to be destroyed effortlessly". Saying only "I gotta defend myself" just feels like a slightly pussy and disingenuous argument, and plus anti-gun fags have heard that one a million times and always have some "clever" comeback to it. Plus guns are fun, airsoft doesn't go "BANG" and video games don't have that adrenaline factor handling an actual lethal weapon does.
