thats why sentinel decided to build on cosmos instead of waiting that ethereum will deliver their empty promises.
thanks to the cosmos backbone sentinel will have:

-higher tps then ethereum
-easy chain upgrades to fit user needs
-any coin can be used to pay for txn fees
-instant finality ( no need to wait for confirmation times)
-instant state sync for full nodes (3 minutes vs day on eth)
-interoperability between chains
-easy to understand user experience
-direct fiat gateways integration ( thanks to e-money)
-on chain governance
-staking yield
-way lower gas costs ( 1 cent txns)

given that OXT is being hosted on the ethereum blockchain which doesn't scale and has increasing txn fees you can guess easily which is better, SENT will be able to accept payments in any coin thanks to cosmos cross chain protocol, also sent has an implementation in every major routing protocol , also sentinel will have a relay net that will allow you to bounce your traffic through multiple nodes, so the more you pay the more secure you will be

their whole design is flawed cause they are building on ETH which will never scale, currently a eth txn fee costs more then half a month of vpn service, SENT on the other hand is building its own chain to keep costs low and redistribute revenue to holders

orchid is built on ETH which is an unscalable mess, good luck paying more for the transaction fee then the actual service , that will totally not hinder adoption

eth is becoming more and more expensive to use every day, this is unsustainable for dapps that's why sent was smart and identified this problem from the beginning

thats why more and more projects are switching away from eth to tendermint and cosmos SDK

https://cosmonauts.world/

tendermint offers full chain customization , and cross chain capabilities, you also have many statechains/vms like the wasm or the EVM one , so you are not constrained by being able to hire only solidity devs, but you can hire ANY dev ,cosmos doesn't require additional dev training like eth does

yeah devs are switching away from that unscalable mess called ethereum.
cosmos allows for complete customization of the chain in every aspect, so users don't have to manage multiple tokens to use a dapp (any token will can be used as fee)
gas limit and gas price will be abstracted away , and the whole ux will become much easier to handle, later human readable addresses will also be implemented

thats one of many problems with the ethereum single chain paradigm, the main problem i see is that normies will never learn to use it as its the complete opposite of user friendly, having to manage gas limit gas price , network congestion , multiple tokens, complex addresses, i bet most people have cold sweats before sending txns on eth , thats why in the end tendermint and cosmos will gather most of the userbase and devs, they simply allow a level of customization that eth will never reach , eth for example forces you to pay gas with ETH with cosmos you will be able to pay with any token so you don't have to hold multiple tokens to use a service, and you can have account names thanks to cosmos upgrade ability and modularity.

eth is a nightmare to use for normies , no way they will be able to learn to manage all the cumbersome practices eth forces on them, gas limit gas prices network congestion having to manage multiple tokens and being forced to have eth in the wallet to use the network are all barrier to adoption.
the simplest dvpn UX will be the winning one, cause sentinel will launch its own chain they customize every bit down to the blockchain level, sent dvpn can accept multiple tokens thanks to cross chain swaps and you are not forced to use only one token as gas fee

the main advantage is not having to share the chain with countless others dapps or defi protocols, right now eth txn fees are getting too high which wouldn't work at all for something based on micro payments like sent.

as eth chain becomes more and more expensive their dapp will become unusable, ethereum does not scale and eth 2.0 phase 0 does not offer any improvement, also eth user experience is horrible you have to hold multiple tokens to use a dapp and learn about gas limit gas price etc...

the winning dVPN will be simply the dVPN that is easier to use, so simple yet many retards don't see it, just try all of them and see which one is more consumer friendly

eth doesn't allow customization and chain governance and you are forced to use ETH to pay for gas, so end users are burdened by un necessary complication , it also doesn't scale and its getting more and more centralized

other then their horrible design decisions there is a lot of other problems with eth, its not user friendly enough for normies to use, thats what killed dapps and why ethereum pivoted to defi, its cause most dapps were priced out or undo able.
with tendermint every dapp that has sustainable revenue can get its own chain thus making their services less expensive for end users which is essential for stuff like dVPNs or other things that require micropayments.
also eth doesn't allow to pay gas with tokens other then eth and that creates enormous problems for onboarding new users.
SENT chain will allow anybody to pay with any token having to manage multiple tokens is too much for normies

sent wouldn't be possible if it was built on eth , user experience would be awful like orchid and mysterium and when eth is clogged it would be unusable, people would pay more in transactions fees then using the actual dvpn.
thats why sent needs its own cosmos based chain, focusing on ease of use is sent winning trait people will be able to pay with any coin thanks to the cross chain protocol

there is pretty much a max exodus from ethereum , the only thing left is defi tokens like compound which is pretty much a ponzi, that seems like desperation pump to me, reality will hit eth hard when users understand that eth 2.0 phase 0 doesn't improve anything but just postpones actual improvements.
eth doesn't have the tools to allow developers to make their dapp userfriendly, having to learn how to use gas limit and gas price, and being forced to hold multiple tokens to use something like orchid dvpn is creating enormous entry barriers that normies will have no incentive to cross them

its even worse then that , i tried using it , only a retard would think that normal consumers will be able to learn the whole process , they are limited by the platform they are building on.
eth can't scale and forces users to hold cause they don't wanna allow to pay fees in other tokens, so end users need both eth ond oxt to use a vpn, its never going to happen

sent vision would not be possible if the project remained on ethereum , user experience would be horrible and normies would never learn it.
gas limit
gas price
check network congestion
use multiple tokens
you don't have enough eth in your wallet
thats why in the end eth will be abandoned by all dapps, the sovereign chain model envisioned by cosmos/tendermint (with cross chain capabilities) is superior, every chain can have custom features and governance

EVERY CHAIN/DAPP/PROJECT BECOMES A DAO

have you even tried orchid ?
i did and their product is unusable, its a UX nightmare , no way normies will be able to figure out how to manage multiple tokens, you have to hold both eth and oxt in your wallet to use their service, and learn how to send eth txns while hoping the network is not congested.

after main net sent will integrate fiat on ramps (credit cards etc..) so it will be even easier then buying from coinbase.

eth user experience is absolutely awful it forces you to hold eth is you wanna use utility tokens, and you can pay for gas only using eth, it makes everything much more difficult for normies, i doubt people have the will to learn about gas price and gas limit and all the nuances of sending a txn , even worse if the network is constantly congested (which is btw why they are thinking about adding blockspace centralizing the whole thing even more)
i remember when eth was supposed to be "the world computer" and allow thousands of dapps but in the end it never delivered on its promises cause the whole concept is flawed in its current form.
