Why are they stalling? Surely they realize that the longer they wait the more they have to pay right?
If they would have let it happen in january it probably would have ended with 1k/share, but who knows how high long hedgies will make it go now.
Crashing the whole market just makes them unable to recoup losses by liquidating other holdings too.
This is the most braindead, shutitalldown tier play I've ever seen. It's like giving up your queen to protect a rook.
