The only action that could save this program is to create a central exchange around ICP.

There is no way it's going to rival ETH or Solana due to their established states and well developed ecosystems.

If anything, this will do a 10x in the big pump market and dump back to around $10 per coin, slowly bleeding out as no one wants to use a centralized blockchain without some sort of exchange funding the project.

It's too much of a risk to build something on this program. The requirements just to be a validator is absolutely awful and I'm assuming it's set up that way to attract big wallets only. This really cuts out the idea of anyone can cooperate in the community, unlike bitcoin.

There is a chance it could replace ETH but definitely not as a centralized program.

Missed opportunity or elaborate scam?

It's another vaporware scam similar to the hundreds of other vaporware scams that exchanges have listed.

If you don't know what vaporware is, it's when someone develops a program just enough to get people to buy or invest into. To lead buyers on to believe there is a full product or service being developed, or will be used based on the an advertised plan.

Then the dev slowly backs away from the project while continuing to persuade and entice people into investing more.

However the entire intent was never to deliver a complete product or continue development, only enough to give the illusion to investors so they will buy more.
