If the indices drop in 2024, that will simply mean that we form a cup and handle... meaning we skyrocket in H2 2024 and whole of 2025.

Goddamn OIL IS RIPPING. Rip inflation (especially in the EU). Our only saving grace is the insanely and ridiculously cheap electricity right now which will entirely offset any inflationary gains produced by the higher gas/oil prices.
Since the weather is so unsteady right now and it is blowing a lot, the "green" turbines actually generate crazy amounts of electricity.
But electricity cannot get cheaper than this while oil keeps rising, ultimately meaning that inflation should be finding its way up
I can't decide whether this winter is looking really bullish or really damn bearish. In actuality, we're just gonna crab for the next 6 months right? Boring market

You have to be stupid/naive to think that this was not all part of the US's design (imagine thinking someone can "fuck" with America by manipulating oil prices, g1 m8).
All for that easy profit. Normies have already adjusted to the higher gas/diesel/oil prices so why not squeeze them further?
Hell, I am paying $2.2 for a litre of diesel (cca $8.3/gallon) and people seem to be just fine with it. There simply is no incentive for them to have cheap oil. Nobody even wants cheap oil.

Agreed, but greedflation is firmly in everyone's hearts so this crap won't stop anytime soon. Service inflation is gonna get super hyper this summer which will further fuel the market's desires. We might see another bear market afterwards though

The problem is that these kinds of jobs are paid like utter crap or in some cases not even paid at all. Here in Europoor a lot of companies offer "temporary" jobs where they evaluate your performance for like 6months and during that time do the same work as everyone else but get paid max 50%.
Also, why would you work as an electrician or do manual labor in the forest or something like that when you can do some simple computer tasks or work as a nurse for 10h/week and get paid more?
Until the employers start giving a crap about their employees, I see no reason to give a crap about caring about these supposedly vital "manual labor jobs"

So it's confirmed right? Bad inflationary data tomorrow but the market pumps anyway because it means FED is closer to ending rate hikes r-r-r-right? Everything is bullish nowadays so that would be my guess on how it goes tomorrow. Anyone care to make a wager?
I am guessing +2,3% tomorrow and 3%+ for European indices

Women follow in the footsteps of men, meaning you are the degenerate, not her. But good for you m8 for bagging an idiot. If a chick is on such a website and looking for people to pay her bills, how in the world can she be so stupid as not to demand payment up front or straight after the deed has been done... m8, I would recommend cutting all ties right this instant.

I agree. This is only fun when it happens rarely. And when there is good reason to do so. Doing it every week for the smallest/dumbest thing is just fucking stupid. Stop doing this jannies/mods.

Nah, there is absolutely no way in hell the FED will start QE again just because few meme banks got fugged. That has basically no bearing at all on the economy as a whole and is just, as I wrote, a classic FUD.
Powell has repeatedly said that he will bring inflation down and will not stop until core inflation has shown real signs of decreasing... you guys are gasping at straws here
